LenaLingua is 501(c)(3) certified and promotes the preservation and revitalization of Lenape language and culture. By using computational linguistics tools and innovative educational programs, we aim to make the Lenape language more accessible and to inspire a new generation of learners to engage with indigenous culture. We are committed to working collaboratively with members of the Lenape tribe, linguists, educators, and other stakeholders to create a vibrant and supportive community that celebrates the rich history and heritage of the Lenape people.
However, I soon realized that the preservation of the Lenape language and culture cannot be achieved through traditional methods of education alone. I needed to find innovative ways to engage learners of all ages and backgrounds and make the Lenape language and culture accessible to a wider audience. And so, LenaLingua was born.

From a young age, my heart has been deeply connected to the preservation of indigenous cultures and languages. Growing up in New Jersey, I was exposed to the rich history and heritage of many different cultures, and it was the Lenape people that inspired my passion for this project. As I learned more about the Lenape language and culture, I became increasingly driven about to find ways to preserve and revitalize this important aspect of indigenous heritage.
